Contraption

For this weeks Illustration topic Contraption  I went with a scene from the movie The Great Race.
This is one of Professor Fate's many contraptions that is doomed for failure. There are a lot of laughs in this movie. However I wouldn't recommend watching the entire movie in one sitting as the silliness can really drag on. It is better to watch it over two nights.

    This is beautiful! I really like the characters, texture and contraption. The sense that they are flying is strong. The windsock tells a good tale, too :)

      Hey, thanks Diana. I've been trying to use more textures lately. I used brushes that I thought would give it a bit of an aged look. I'm glad it looks like they are flying.
